Margaret Thatcher

“I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end.”

Margaret Thatcher
1925 - 2013
Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Being assertive is an admirable characteristic.
But equally important is your ability to keep an open mind.
Keep open to all available solutions.  Not just your own.

Rarely does only one answer exist.
There are many great solutions to problems.

Often times, the very best outcome is not the one you wanted.
It’s not the one that others wanted.
It’s somewhere in between.

Don’t think compromise.
Compromise usually means both sides lost a little something.

Instead, think of a third alternative.
It’s harder work, but the rewards are so much greater.

Yours in achieving your personal best . . .
