“Instant gratification is not soon enough.”

We want it all.  And we want it now.
But the one thing that we rarely seek is patience.

How often do we decide to lose weight, reduce debt?
How often do we long to advance our careers, achieve a specific goal?

If results are not quickly achieved, we give up on the dream.

New Years Resolutions are nothing more than “wish lists.”
They have no more substance than the little effort we breathe into them.

Worthwhile achievements take time.

Hard as it may be to believe.
True happiness is not found in arriving at your goal.

Happiness—and personal growth—is found on the journey.

Yes, by all means, set a goal.  Make New Years Resolutions.
But learn to savor the joy found in completing each small step along the way.

Yours in achieving your personal best . . .
