Henry Ford

“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Henry Ford

Try this experiment.

Go to a beach with very few footprints.
Identify an object farther down the beach.
Start walking towards it but keep your eyes on your feet.

After a minute of walking, turn around and look at your path.
You will find you have wandered a bit
Maybe you will have wandered quite a bit.

That’s what can happen with your goals.
As soon as you start paying more attention to your day-to-day activities,
And less attention to your ultimate outcome.
You start wandering.  Getting off course.

Keep your eyes on your goal at all times.
The distance to achievement is a lot shorter that way.

Yours in achieving your personal best . . .
